Raghuraman (‘Raghu’) Ramachandran (Founder/CEO)
Raghu has held positions as the head of market-making for agricultural and softs derivatives and as an options trader for more than a decade with various bulge bracket banks like ING, J P Morgan, Jefferies and Rabo. His exposure includes Interest Rate and Commodity Derivatives, specifically market-making agricultural commodity options and trading in them. He also enjoyed a stint with Olam International Limited, understanding the physical side of commodities. He is a mechanical engineer with an MBA in Finance from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines and is a CQF charter holder. He also possesses computer programming and modelling skills. He is an evangelist of “R”, the open source statistical/mathematical software.
Kalyanaraman Subramaniam (COO & CFO)
Kalyan Subramaniam is a seasoned information system professional, with a career track record of 34+ years, specializing in finance and IT domains. He managed diverse roles with multi-faceted responsibilities involving Project Delivery, Business Development-overseas, International Marketing Support, Global Delivery Operations and the Corporate Functions. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a degree in Electronics Engineering and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree. He has been associated with national and international organizations since 1981, in India, Australia, U.K, U.S.A, France and the Benelux countries. He holds the position of Founder-Director in The Academic Mentors, a management consultancy/training organization. He is also a visiting faculty to management/technical institutions including IIM Ranchi. He teaches project management, Intellectual Property Rights and Business-Oriented Information systems.
Yuen-Lam Voronin (Director – Quantitative Techniques)
Yuen-Lam Voronin is an applied mathematician. She obtained her Ph.D. at University of Waterloo, Canada. Her research focuses on mathematical optimization algorithm design and implementation, as well as optimization modeling of real world problems. Voronin has experience in applying numerical optimization techniques to a number of areas, including biology (protein design), computer science (quantum computing, program verification) and finance (portfolio optimization).
Gopi Suvanam (Director – Technology)
Gopi has more than 10 years of experience in financial analytics. He worked for Deutsche Bank in New York and London before moving into entrepreneurship. He has advised top-notch institutions around the world on the use of derivatives for investments and risk management. He has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. He also has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from IIT Madras.
